This morning I wanted to get my Bongo out of the case to do some practicing but to my surprise (and anger:mad:) the case is locked. I didn't lock it (never do) so it must have bumped into something when loading the bass in the car. It's wierd because it was on its own on the backseat.

Anyway.... I don't have a key (no idea where it is) and the keys from my 2 SR5 cases won't fit.
Anyone got any great tips on picking the lock without destroying it? :(

I don't know if all the Bongo case keys are the same I would think they are but I have one I can send you, even if it's for future use. I'll mail it to you or if you want to pay for overnight. I'll pm you a pic also Rick

It's really not a hard lock to pick. Bend a paper clip and have a fish around in there.

K. Going to try that right now!

I did it. I fumbled (is that an English word?) around with a piece of plastic resembling a key long enough to open it.

Props to Laneline for the tip!
