Just got my brand new JPXI a few days back. Just love the thin neck and large radius fretboard. Always wanted an electric with a fretboard a bit more similar to a classical guitar. Even speedier than my Axis and a perfect match for my hotdog style fingers.

WOW. That looks great Opie! Those closeup pics are very nice. The action seems super low. Do you think your JP plays faster than say an Ibanez that JP used some time ago?

Nice pics - she's a beauty.

Hey, if Yngwie's hot dog fingers don't slow him down, I'm sure yours will do just fine, too.

Thanks guys! Yeah as long as I don´t exceed Yngwie-speed (which I sure as hell don´t) there should be nothing to worry about I guess:)

Never played an Ibanez actually so don´t know how those necks feel. But I remember how impressed I was with the fast feel of the Axis neck when I got it, so even more surprised to find this one to seem even faster and easier to play. The fretboard definitely feels flatter than others and it takes some time to get really used to I guess.
Just love how EBMM and JP dear to experiment instead of sticking to the known and tried:)

Thanks a lot guys! Really happy you like the photos. Photography is another passion of mine.

What kind of settings did you use to shoot those.

I used a handheld Nikon D300s DSLR with a 17-55mm standard zoom lens and a 105mm macro lens for the closeups. Aperture ranged from 5,6 to 16 and ISO was constant at 400. A single flash was also used on all the shots.

Thanks bro! Here´s a pic where you at least get some impression of the radius. You can kind of compare the curve of the frets to the straight surface of the neck pickup. I´ll see if I can take a better photo soon.

Also worth to mention how incredibly easy it is to do bends on this guitar. The flat radius and superhard stainless steel frets really makes it butter smooth.
