Wanted to get a group shot of my bass family right now.
Bass 1: A Samick Music Man Copy. The bass is passive with a single volume & tone pot. I saw this on GC's used website and had to have it because it's identical to the bass a friend let me borrow that I started playing bass on. I got the cash to buy it from GC and called them up and they said it had just sold. I was upset because it's the only other one that I've seen. Then my girlfriend surprised me with it for a graduation gift!
She's sporting GHS Pressure Wounds right now and the tone if FAT!
Bass 2: A Sterling by Music Man Ray35. I had initially bought a Music Man S.U.B. as a backup to my SR5 HH but I couldn't dig the 4 string body. I like the SR5's sexy curves a little too much. Got this one in and it is very similar to my SR5 and sounds fantastic! About to try some GHS Pressure Wounds on this one as well!
Bass 3: A EBMM Stingray 5 HH. This bass is home to me. I've had it a couple of months now and we get a little more comfortable together everyday. After playing one of my other basses coming back to this bass feels so good. The neck is perfection. I thought I was an alder/rosewood guy but this bass has made me appreciate the sweet tone of ash/maple. This one is currently wearing DR Sunbeams.
Bass 4 (honorable mention): Although not in the photo because she wasn't available at the moment is my first bass. A Peavey Millennium BXP 5er in trans black.
