Hello,
Although I visit this site most days of the week, I very rarely post. I am very fortunate to own 3 Lukes, a TransBlack BFR, a DargieDelight 2 and just recently a TrueGold.
When I dive into the studio on weekends with my hands on one of the three, my wife always asks ' Why have you chosen this one, surely they all sound the same '
Well no. The Transblack is the warmest and is my choice for laying down rythym tracks, the DD2 has more expression/attack and was always my first choice for solos.
Then the TrueGold arrived and with it a bell like ring to it, creating now a small pause as I go to choose. A nice dilemma to have.
These are truely wonderful guitars to own and as I said am very lucky.
I have just finished this track with a good friend, all EBMM. First half of solo Trans Black, second half Truegold ( because it had just arrived ) the end solo I think you can guess.........
