Hey guys and gals, I'm a long-time lurker here on the forum, and I just recently purchased my first EBMM guitar -- a blue Axis Super Sport. I've been playing for eleven years, and I just can't describe how happy I am with the playability, craftsmanship and tone of this instrument; it has seriously blown my mind and inspired my playing significantly. It trumps every guitar I've ever played, by far.

I've read that it doesn't exist without pics, so here's just a few pics of this beauty:

And also, here's a video of me recording with it for the first time:

All the folks in San Luis Obispo should be proud of the works of art that they craft!

Next up...one of those amazin' pink Axis Tributes...that is, if there's any hope of finding one!

Nice one HTS! I've never seen that finish on a EBMM but it is awesome! I like that Nuno in the background too. I've got a few of those old ones from the mid 90's. They are great axes for the money. But not as great as EBMM of course! Yeah I agree on the Pink Tribute. I had my hands on one but missed out. Someone bought it 1/2 hour later! grrrrr. oh well these things go fast!

Great guitar, love the blue pearl!
You don't see solid colours on the ASS too often...looks great and sounds awesome :)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Gotta agree on that; picked it up at a local dealer on clearance for $150. Well worth it, but compared to the comfortable neck on the ASS, that thing feels like a 2x4!

Dude, is that an original Howard Chaykin Star Wars print on the wall or a reprint?

That is a reprint. An original would have been sold long ago to buy another EBMM guitar! :D

I used to own one just like it. They were part of a limited Guitar Center run for one year. Great guitar and awesome playing!

Thanks for the info! Guy I bought it from got it at Guitar Center many moons ago, and locked it in his closet for ten years. I have no idea why someone would banish such an awesome guitar to the back of a closet!

Nicely played and I liked the way you walked on, as the tune started. Cool.

Great guitar, congrats.

Thanks man! I didn't have anyone around to operate the camera or the recording software, so I had to make do. Glad you thought it was cool!
