Morse Y2D Black Sugar - Roasted Neck

Hi, hoping you guys can help get me in the ballpark. I had a great '98 Axis a couple of years ago but that is the extent of my experience with EBMM. Now I'm looking at a black sugar Y2D with a roasted maple neck and the BFR inlay at the 12th fret.

I don't think these are too common or at least I haven't seen many. What is a good price for a new one?

Thanks.

That's pretty much how I felt. I've wanted a Y2D for years but never liked the finishes.

I love my Purple Sunset. But I get that it's a color that's not for everyone.

But that black sugar/roasted neck combo is amazing.

I am weak ... it should be here next Thurs. Wanted one of these forever. The cool paint job and binding with the hardtail was more than I could take.

don't forget to remove the plastic on the pickguard!

Yes, absolutely will do once I receive it! I'm really looking forward to it.

I should give credit where credit is due since I nabbed the pics from the dealer site ... Drum City Guitarland in CO.

Nice grab! I've been looking at this guitar for like a month wishing I had the cash. It looks soooooooo good. I also love my Purple Sunset, so I'm sure you'll love that one! Treat her right and pics as soon as you get it!!!

Awesome score man! I've been looking at that one for some time as well! I just wish it had rosewood board myself...but either way it is absolutely amazing combination.

Great score! The black sugar finish just looks fantastic "in the flesh"...I guess there are not too many RM/BS Y2D's (or regular Morses...) out there. Fantastic guitar!

Actually, many of us will have clocked that straight away. There are a few dealers who take great photos of their stock and we all know the texture of their bricks or walls by heart! HA! :D

Ha ha, that's pretty funny.

I will post pics/report when I get it next week.

Got it! Haven't had it long but the guitar rules. God damn I forgot how thin these EBMM necks are though! My main guitars for years have been Historic LPs and LP Standards before that. I may have to ditch them because they make EVERY other kind of neck feel weird. Burned through PRS, Suhr, EBMM guitars ... This one stays.
