Hello everyone! I am a new EBMM owner and I wanted to pop in and say hello and become a member of this forum. I have 2 friends that own Petrucci and Luke model guitars. After many years of hanging around them I finally gave in and purchased one on 1/1/2012. I have been an Ibanez player for years until now. I still like my Ibanez but for what I was looking for in a new guitar I found in the EBMM guitars. I spent a total of 2 hours playing it through a mesa mini recto at Guitar Center in Oklahoma City. Without any further delays here is a pic of me and my new EBMM Petrucci 6 string with piezos.

Welcome to the family. Sweet looking jp6 you've got there! How long have you been playing?

Nice entrance. Didn't even have to bust your "balls" to see pics. Sweet guitar and piezo no less.
Who knows, you may eventually be selling your ibanez to support your new EBMM cravings. It happens to all of us. Welcome!

Welcome to the forums. Congrats on the JP. Great looking color. I played Ibanez RG's until I tried the JP's. Now, I don't play Ibanez any more.:)

Welcome and I have to say that I already feel that we're long lost brothers! I have sat in a guitar store (usually one of Pete DuBaldo's stores) and played and played and played badly for hours on end. I'd play the guitar I might be interested in, find another that looked interesting and played that, played others and then eventually bought something (once was one I never even touched before buying it). I'm now at 2 guitars that I didn't play first and both are fantastic and met my expectations and beyond.

Thanks! I won't be selling my Ibanez guitars. My RG 570 is signed on the back of the neck by John Petrucci (during the Falling into Infinity tour) and my other Ibanez is a Reb Beach Model. My other 2 main axes are Peavey Vandenbergs (White one and a Black one).

Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome! The color is Lake Tahoe Blue. I have been playing since 1991. I'm not really a lead player. I was one of the founding members of the band Bipolar Echo. You look at some of the youtube videos of Bipolar Echo and see me playing. Kevin Wale aka mesavox and the guy that replaced me Jacob are both huge EBMM guitar fans. The were always saying I should get one. I guess I caved! LOL!
