Ok so my understanding is that Ernie ball was founded in 1958... This puts it at 54 years old. The 25th anniversary guitar was released in 2009. The 50th anniversary is coming up. I'm super confused about the anniversaries... What are each of these for? Will we see another bad a$$ guitar for 50th? (I hope so)

The 25th was the anniversary for Music Man guitars. If you look at the headstock is says Ernie Ball Music Man (EBMM) Music Man was started by Leo Fender eventually Ernie Ball purchased Music Man. Unless BP is going to surprise us at NAMM there will be no special guitar for this 50 year anniversary since it is not a "guitar" anniversary. Only he knows and we are two weeks away. (And yes he knows if there is one you hope it was SS frets)

Hey BP,

I see you've got some really nice props in Guitar World, having Ernie Ball's 50th Anniversary featured in an article. Nice:)
