I wish the roasted package would have been offered with a floyd. Right now I want to buy something to commemorate my college graduation but it would be between that and a Luke III. Is there a big difference in price between the y2d and LIII

Twas Twas If I was thinking I should have filmed a small spot to share.

I absolutely love the tone of the guitar and contemplated buying a reflex and putting the morse pickups in it but I realized the snap and pop in the guitar sound was from the poplar body and the pickups are not the source. so I really want the whole package to get the sound.

I got Y2D gas when I saw a photo PeteDuBaldo posted from NAMM of Joe B. playing his purple sunset. You can view a guitar a hundred times and it does nothing and then you view it from a certain angle, under certain lighting conditions, whatever it is and its never the same and GAS develops...damn it!

I love the looks of the Tobacco Burst as well. I have a Purple Sunset, but I want to get a De-Purple Burst and a Tobacco Sunset to keep it company. Maybe once I make sure I have a job after I finish my Ph. D. It will be in the cards. But for now, I at least get to enjoy what I have. Here's hoping you can get one soon!

How was the Morse in comparison to the Petrucci model? I'm thinking I'll either get a Morse Y2D or the jpxi

Devin those guitars are two different very animals. The JPXI has a wide, thin, and flat 24 fret neck with a forearm contour while the Morse has a slightly narrower, thicker, rounder 22 fret neck with no forearm contour.

Your best bet is to try and find one or both locally and play them!
