I haven't heard any official talk about them but it seems that a second run of Axis Tributes will be appearing pretty soon. Spoke to my rep at Guitar Center a few days ago, thanks to a decent year end bonus it seems I am going to go Pink crazy. :p

If its true, it would be great and bad at the same time. Wish EBMM would release to all the dealers so folks outside the States could order them, too.

It's true. My rep just called me to say the first one I ordered just arrived at the store for me to pick up. Sorry that international buying is a hassle for you. Can't Guitar Center sell and ship these to Canada?

Nope! It's part of the dealer agreement. Dealers in each country aren't supposed to ship new instruments outside of their respective countries. Of course there are ways around it, but if anything goes wrong with the guitar it won't be covered by EBMM's warranty.

The initial run of 130 GC exclusive Tributes never even made it to the stores as they were sold out off the bat. Sterling stated that if they moved fast they would most likely do an extended run.I don't know how much longer they are going to do them but these take the cake for most quality in a guitar for the price. When you factor in that they are less than $100 more than a regular Axis and $600+ cheaper than a BFR they are a steal! I honestly don't see the difference in a BFR and a Tribute except the price. Considering the tops and necks are all top shelf I was honestly shocked they were not priced in the BFR range.Maybe I have just been blessed (I don't know why lol) but I have never had any warranty issues with any guitar I have bought in my life. I did buy a new Clapton Strat many years ago who's bridge pup just died after two years for some unexplained reason, but that was a quick fix. If I lived in Canada I would have no problem buying an EB and feeling comfortable that I would have no issues. I do feel for all the loyal forumites over seas that are not getting the chance to land one of these. But I also remember Sterling saying that after GC was done they may do a Premier Dealer run, so keep your fingers crossed.

Look what's coming to me soon...

It was a real pain and there was a lot of extra cost, but for this axe I think it is worth it!

Congrats. It looks great. Now is The Guitar Center sending this to you direct or is someone buying it down there for you and they are sending it up. Cause, now i'm really confused if you are getting it direct from The Guitar Center cause I thought that was not allowed. Hoping someone from EBMM can clear this up.

Nope, Guitar Center can't ship outside the US. They do stick by that agreement they have with the manufacturer. I used a third party service that will purchase products for you and ship to other countries. It's expensive, but if it's something you really want...

You are right Mug and the upgraded Floyd, top mounted nut and G&G case while we are at it. I seriously can't find another build by anyone on par with these for the price.

Nice going Rokstar- where theres a will theres a way.

straycat113, I live in Canada, When I found out about the Axis tributes I had no problems getting on the phone and paying for two of them, all I had to do was to figure out how to get them home. The reason for this law is because the music stores and builders want each of us to buy from our local music stores. Well anyways, I drove to Spokane to pick up one of them (Pinky) and then I had FedEX pick up the other one (Blackie) and I shipped it to myself, done deal... No Regrets MusicMan Guitars are the best guitars by far for the price. I have spent far more on my Green and Pink Evhs to worry about warranty's.

Gotcha, man. Us Canuckleheads have to do, what we have to do. I totally understand the reasoning for the "no shipping outside the country" policy. And I agree with it. It's there to protect the dealers. But it would be cool if there was an exception made when there are exclusives like the GC Axis tributes. Because you can't go to a dealer up here and get them anyway.

Thats the way to get it done Jackson, I love the guitars you have on your rack. Of course the Green EVH shades me a little green with envy lol. It took me a longtime to find my Pink one and I know where about 40 of the 96 Greens are, but it may be easier to land a kidney!

The Green Evh was like destiny, It was on Ebay and I noticed he was selling it from Calgary. He had it listed also that he has the right to cancel the auction at any time. I emailed the guy and he cancelled the auction, I got it for a real fair price, and picked it up that night. Its mint, probably the best Evh I have ever played, but it lives in my vault. I'm looking for a mint Red one now as you can tell from ozzyrules posts. Lucky guy.....it couldn,t of gone to a nicer guy anyways.
