Great birdseye.....and great (unusual) color!

I'd like to see that in a pink/blue/purple mix too .

Ok, stupid question coming up. Was this a respray or custom ordered colour?

I remember very vaguely, Richiesos mentioning EBMM making this for his tour with Blue Oyster Cult in another thread??? Something of that nature. It is a very unique burst. Very cool to see.

Thanks for sharing the pics, Richie. I dig the electronics configuration. That would be my preferred knob placement on the A.S.S. with a 5-way switch. Is it otherwise an axis in wood selection (I.e. basswood body and no mahogany tone block)?

Thanks guys. This is something special they made for. It's pretty much a standard Axis aside from the obvious. Like every other EBMM, it plays and sounds amazing. I'm incredibly honored to own this guitar.

Rich that is just a wicked color scheme! If you were to explain that to me in words I would never think it would work, but it is seriously one of the hottest looking guitars I have ever seen. The crew at EB really outdid themselves as that killer quilt top really brings it to life. Godzilla lol.

Killer looking guitar you have there is that the one you have been using the most?

For balls out rock n roll, this guitar can't be beat. It just screams. This is definitely my main axe. The neck pickup can even get mellow with the right amp and you can play jazz on it. I haven't used it for recording yet. I can't wait until I have to do a lead guitar track on something. For rhythm stuff, people always end up choosing the silhouette special when I do tracks for them. I have the HSS version. I don't know what's in that bridge position, but everyone loves the way it sounds for rhythm guitar. They also like the Humbucker and Middle combined. I've also started using the Y2D on recordings. Oddly enough, that guitar in particular works better with software amps than my other ones. Maybe it has something to do with the output of the pickups??? I was doing a recording where I had to use guitar rig, and the Y2D sounded really good through it.
