Hey, I just saw the GC platinum site and it looks like they have a few purple and pink ones coming in so I called the Hollywood store and got some info. Here is the Pink Axis Tribute they just got in. If anyone is interested in it call and ask for Adam Dodson.

Thanks, I'll pass it on to my buddy T-Show. My local GC doesn't seem to know what Music Man guitars are. I'm so pi&$#d right now. I know I'm not allowed to vent about them, but we spent nearly 2 hours at my local GC today and the platinum room guy assured us that there was no 2nd run. Adam is my new "go to" guy. I will be calling him in the morning.

If I miss the boat on an Axis Tribute Trans Pink because of my local GC Rep....I will be extremely upset...Wasted 2 hrs today at a local store ..to no avail....then find some on the platinum site when I get home.....Then the guy is out till Monday...and the other sales people don't seem to care either and won't offer the same deal....I am going back tomorrow before a gig..and try again....You can't even give your money away at GC!!!!

He was awesome with my tribute and everything else. He's a great guy, but I think he's got a lot going on in his personal life. I will buy from him again, but acquiring a new tribute is time critical. My buddy(T-Show) is looking and I thought I'd help him. He is an Ernie Ball convert. He's traded 2 PRS's already and has at least 2 more to trade. We'll keep you posted.

Umm thats strange Ozzy only time I have had issues getting in touch with Robbie was when he was extremely ill awhile back.

Now I know he was super busy the week before NAMM and a couple days after but anywho give him a try he has a few coming.

The last time I called GC N.Dallas, they said he had some personal stuff going on. I texted him a couple of times about tributes and a BFR, but no response. I'm just really frustrated with my local guys. They just don't seem to care.

I must admit that hearing all this "call X or Y" to get your Balls is giving me an envy so huge I can´t even describe it...where I live it is almost impossible to grab one (and damn to expensive), so I just rely on going to the States, or some family with lots of good will who can bring me my babes

Guitar Center has new Tributes along with the phone number of the platinum manager of the store where the guitar is. Call the number and they will sell you the guitar. That is how I bought mine. Don't be afraid to make them a offer. I didn't pay list price for mine...

Oz if I were you I would nicely go back to your GC and show the guy you wasted two hours with that there is in fact a new order of Tributes. Ask him why they are not giving him the correct info and that it is a shame and a hassle that you had to deal with GC's from out of state on the 4 new Balls you bought last year. Now it could be he has just been misinformed or is a nit wit but this will wake him up. If he has been getting bum info he will not like that he missed out on commissions and more than likely take care of you, especially if you throw in that all your friends also play EB's. I do remember a lot of forum members having this problem the first go round on the Tributes and it seemed to be some miscommunication the dealers were told when they called.I say give it one more shot and possibly get the buy on the Ball (no pun intended lol) so you can deal with your local store! If he takes his job serious he will not like the fact he is not receiving the right info and losing sales.

My buddy went in to GC yesterday and took care of it. The Platinum guy wasn't there, and the rest of the staff was very helpful.
