Besides Pickguard Heaven is there another source to order a guard for my Silo other than what EBMM offers?

Is there a reason you don't want to go with them? I've bought a few pickguards over the years from them and I've never been disappointed. I just got this one for my white Silo, Vintage Red Tortoise Shell...

I have a question. Is it easy to just replace the pickguard? That is, do you have to really fuss with the pickups to get them to be the exact height when you apply the new one?

Yes.

Yes. You have to take the pickups off the old guard and put them on the new one. The whole process is easy but you need to be comfortable setting the pickup height yourself, since that's determined by the screws that hold the pickups to the guard.

I used to have the specs that EBMM uses for their factory setup, but it can still vary based on the pickups used. Your best bet is to get them close and then go by your ears. You'll find the sweet spot based on your setup.
