Man, there are some KILLER basses in the FS thread this weekend. Makes me wish I had endless supplies of cash. Just wanted to mention it because sometimes I don't check it out regularly but spent some quality drool time in that thread this morning.

Agreed. I'm not even a bass player and that fretless Bongo is speaking to me!

I'm really liking that Buttercream Bongo but just ordered a new Bongo last week due to a nice tax return. Hmmmm, I may have to see if I can sell off some other non EBMM gear in a hurry. I have been GASing for a Buttercream Bongo for a few months now ever since I had a dream about one.

You sure did, Jack.

I showed that thread to my wife. Now she's GASing!! :D

She says I can buy a Bongo AND a Guilded SR5, lol.

Or maybe she's angling for a Baja cruise. ;)

OMG! My bank account balance is thankful for the fact that the BFR has a maple FB. If it had a rosewood FB I would have had a serious problem!

There are some awesome basses in the FS thread, especially the Cabernet sterling 5 :D

I wonder why these basses are some much more expensive? I would buy one for maybe $2000, but $5000??
I know they are a very limited run, but I wish they were less expensive.

That gold Sterling 5HS is calling my name, but it's out of my range right now. Argh...
