An interesting Stingray has found it's way into my house.....

I made a trade yesterday for this Stingray 5 string. It appears to be a Mary Kay trans white finish and I've never seen one before. I was hoping some of the experts here could tell me a bit about it.

I also have a Mary Kay bass. It was made in 1993. I read somewhere that there were only a dozen or so made. Maybe some other forumites can confirm that (or not). Nice looking bass IMHO. Nice find!

Neat the way the 4 has mutes and the 5 doesn't. Also the black control knobs, was that standard with the tort???

I also have a Mary Kay Ray 4

I have been told that mine was probably the first one ever to leave the factory (sn 32218 ,Nov of 1990), and notice it has a different kind of tort pickguard.. Anybody know anything about that?
