Hi . I have fretless stingrayb that I have owned since new, but its never been played or gigged. Its still in its case with its original strings and even its battery. The serial number is E16159. I cant even remember when I bought it. Can you enlighten me please.

Brilliant. thanks for that. I actually got it out after posting my request, and my son walked in and said "that's loveliest bass you own Dad. How come I havent seen it before ??" LOL. Well that's the only excuse I needed now for playing it. Going to take it to Wednesday nights rehearsal night now and use it !!!

My Stingray 4 is E75414

Won it at the Ernie Ball stand at the London Bass Guitar Show, which was March 4th. I'm guessing it isn't that old. Maple fretboard, 2-band EQ, standard blue finish.

Hey Ray,

Congrats! That one was born on 05/05/10, the finish is called blue pearl.

Cheers, it was probably kept in stock and used for this particular event. The 'Rays sound and look absolutely stunning, and it's a pretty big jump from my Fleabass. Top quality basses.

Just a tip: Be careful with leaving batteries in your bass for extended periods of time. Eventually it could corrode and destroy your electronics.
