My friend bought recently Stingray 4 H black, rw board, tort pg with serial number:

E29909

Is that original factory setup of that S/N and if You could be so kind to check DOB of that bass?
He think that bridge should have S/N on it too, or not?

I'm not really sure what that serial number is. I comes up in our database, but with no description and only the date of 6/16/90

The serial number will only be on the neck plate on this bass

I have been in a bit of musical limbo for about a year, and have come back to playing bass (after amassing and using quite a stable of EBMM guitars...). Yesterday was a NBD for me - not a brand new one but one that was kept as close to mint as I would be able to find....

At your convenience, could you please advise me of what the records show for X 06469? It is a S.U.B. 5 and I am positive it is unmodded.

The DOB for your guitar is listed underneath your quote, not above it. Your s/n is black

This comes up as an Axis in Trans Gold that was done on 8/14/97

November 13th, 2001. The color (Blue Dawn) has since been discontinued. It was resurrected in 2007 as a limited edition color for the year.
