So on Friday night, I got to see my old cover band, The Rise and Fall, play at the Auld Shebeen in Fairfax, VA. I was the original guitar player but had to quit back in 2007 when I took a job in Philadelphia. The band is going to make some personnel changes and will continue up under a new name, Luster. Friday night was the swan song for "The Rise and Fall." Anyway, I got to play a few songs with my brothers and chose to use my 25th Anni. Every time I play that guitar I think to myself, "Man, this is such a great guitar!" The feel is fantastic and the versatility in the tones is top notch. I'm continually amazed when BP says the Reflex doesn't sell. I guess people are going on looks and not based on playing them because they are awesome! Just wanted to give a shout out for the 25ths/Reflexs out there.

Here's a couple obligatory shots to prove it happened. :)

There is something about this Guitar that is just great

I will take it to the next gig in mid April (with my Axis Sport MM90 or ASS as a backup)

great shots....

& glad to see your still digging it dave.... let me know how that gig in April goes.

Hey Danny glad to see you will reach a mile stone in one post ;) Yes I dig the guitar and will gig it it's a great guitar that need time to grow on you cause it sounds like something new. But I can tell you that when I catch the right feedback the gost of Gary Moore is around making sure the guitar will sustain until I die

Thanks again for selling it to me

I was considering selling mine to make room for another Ball. I played it at practice on Saturday thru the Egnater for the first time with the whole band. I changed my mind & I'm keeping it. It is so versatile.

In my humble opinion the Reflex is probably the best kept secret in the guitar world. Just over three months since I received mine and it has still not slept inside of its case and that is a record for me. In terms of looks and materials used it is perhaps the plainest guitar I have ever owned. In terms of action, tone, comfort it is without any doubt the finest guitar I have ever played. I honestly almost wanted not to like it, the three piece basswood body just oozed cheap and nasty to me. The very slight dimples on the top which are clearly the maple and not a paint defect did nothing to set me on fire. The plastic coffin case which I am in no doubt is great for the gigging musician again just appeared cheap and nasty compared to the cases that other manufactures supply for similarly priced guitars. Having said all that just plug it in and play it and you immediately know you have something very very special in your hands and all of a sudden the rest doesn't matter.

If I had to have only one guitar in my studio then this is it and to underline the fact it now is:). Lesson learned don't judge a book by its cover although unfortunately the vast majority of guitar buyers clearly do just that. It's quite a hefty price tag for such a plain looking guitar and perhaps simple things like an ebony fret board and more color options would help to get this guitar more noticed. Can't help but feel that the Game Changer has put the Reflex almost on the back burner which is in many ways a shame as it is a guitar that deserves a much broader market acceptance.

I got to play a 25th for the weekend at NAMM while demoing pedals for a comPany and just loved the 25th. It was the only guitar to make me SERIOUSLY consider trading or selling my 20th in order to get it... The tone, versatility, playability, neck, is just a masterpiece in my opinion.

Don't trade or sell your 20th. Save up for a 25th and have both!!! :D

If you had to have just one electric guitar, the 25th/Reflex could get you most of everything you need. I have a 25th and I'm considering a Reflex too.....as a platform to mod. hehehehehehehehehe.

in 25 years the 25th will be the holy grail like the 59 is today. The 25th/reflex is in my opinion the most versatile guitar that ever was build for a working musician. love mine!!
