Maybe I'm forgetting, but was there a 2011 LE guitar? I'm not talking about the Axis Tributes, but a special run of a color for a limited edition (like the blue dawn, 2006 black/gold editions, buttercream, etc).

Is there anything planned for this year?

There wasn't anything special for 2011. Last LE was the Roasted Necks. Maybe we'll see something at Summer NAMM.

Cobalts and Ball Family Custom seem to be the big thing for this year. And the Gamechanger launch.

On second thought. There are the Gilded White Stingray Classics that were done for the Premier Dealer Network.

Not a true LE that has a year on the 12th fret but limited stuff was/is every where, black sugar roasted necks, true gold Lukes, gilded white basses, axis tributes and who beside BP and company know whats next, I always look forward to the IDGF in April to see cool stuff.

Apart from the PDN limited editions, I don't think there was any "Limited Edition" per say. There was the BFR Roasted Neck but other than that I don't think there was anything.

Guitar Center always have some exclusive guitars though, such as...

I've seen the Tahoe Blue at my local GC. As soon as I walk in, I can see it right away as it stands out (in a good way) among the mass of guitars hanging on the wall.
