I am very lucky too. I just got my tax return and have had my eye on a Roland Cube 80XL for some time. Despite the fact we really need a new bed (and its going to be expensive as I need a memory foam one) she told me to go ahead and buy it even before we have been bed shopping!

^ Pretty sure my spending $ on gear that I didn't "need" led to a divorce. It's all good. My girlfriend now encourages me to purchase whatever toys I want that will keep me on pace with her boot collection/habit. Just bought another Ball and as soon as the Tobacco Y2Ds become available, I'm all over one. :) Life has a way of coming around and giving you just what you need.

The 20th is such a great guitar. I absolutely love mine and this thread made me realize she hasn't been getting much love lately, so I pulled her out of the case and played for two hours on it tonight! Thanks for reminding me not to neglect her!

Here she is:

O Jeff! That is just smokin'!!! If that had a natty headstock you'd have to get a broom to beat me away from it! I'd be camping outside your home with a wad of $$$ until you said "Enough is enough! Get out of here before I call the police!". :D Bad enough I miss mine but to see one with a top that sucky - ugh - the pains of regret.

Seriously - yeah, just an incredibly toneful machine the 20ths are. Someday I will have one again........

I wonder how many have a natty and trem and killer top? Oh well, the hunt is the fun part, right? :)

I love mine. Only thing that's missing that in hindsight I wish I would have gotten is piezo.

I have many guitars at home ( nearly every musicman and others ) and the Silo 20th is my favorite. I've got 4 Silo 20th, with and without piezo: crazy guitars!!!!!!!!!
