Have Graph Tech saddles on my ASS, great addition......more bite, power, harmonics, response.....put them on my Silo Special, could not believe how much they changed the sound (not what I was looking for or intended), almost as if I did a complete pickup swap. Gave the Silo more bite, power, harmonic response, but took away the lovely and subtle Stratocaster chimey-ness, especially from the 2 and 4 position. Needless to say, I will be puttin the stock saddles back on. Rock guitar/rock guitar souund, Graph Tech is your product. Strat/Jazz/Blues/Softer sounds, probably not what you are looking for.

Waxed the neck, put on some fret board conditioner, changed the strings, took the GT saddles off, put the stock saddles back on AND intonated, all in less than 90 minutes...........I've changed saddles and intonated 3 times in the last week; I am getting pretty good at it. Guitar was intonated really well out of the box, just a little bit high, but only a little,....got it spot on right now.

That's been my experience as well. Also the reason I prefer the vintage saddles on most guitars to the block style.

I have Graphtechs on my Silhouette Special, and didn't really notice much of a change in tone. (Didn't really help the string breakage issue either.)

I never experienced any need for these graphtech saddles. I have had numerous Balls with vintage trems with the vintage saddles as well as the solid block saddles directly from EBMM. I've never had any problems with tuning and string breakage. I am a fairly heavy picker but dont wail on the guitars...I respect them

.Not sure on the part #, but you have to get the Strat/Tele model that is 2 1/16" ........my Axis SS fits the 2 3/16" GT saddles, however, I ordered those first,and they are way too wide.....2 1/16" fit like a glove,...they did not compliment the Silo Special....maybe the would go well with a Silo, but not the special.
Really? I was VERY surprised at how much it changed the tone,..VERY noticeable to me anyway,....was like playing my ASS in a different body, but not as refined, more like a HH configuration and not a HSS.

I have them on all my guitars and have not noticed any change in tone. The only thing it did was stop me breaking strings! Best upgrade for any guitar.
With the ASS/Axis/EVH, the saddles are very similar already, the sound difference is pretty minimal....on the Silo Special though, major change....the Silo Special saddles are very thin compared to the GT or stock ASS saddles.

Hi, does anybody know which saddles are the Luke´s ones? I mean, if they are same model as the Silo Special ones.

Those bent steel saddles are a key part of the classic Strat tone... The blocks just don't sound right. I really like how the Musicman ones (on my Albert Lee at least) have the subtle groove at the back to guide the string... Bang-on as usual!
