thanks so much for the compliments... i really love the silhouette and silhouette specials... they really fit me well and they're just so comfortable to play... i can bounce between the two very easily.
I wasn't too sure about the bridge pickup as i've never had a hot rails before but after some height adjustments its a natural fit for me... sounds incredible and very responsive... wasn't as "dirty" as i was thinking... it'll probably be a perminant stay for me.
There's not enough i can say about the DuBaldo brothers... Nick and Pete are absolutely top notch guys. I had ordered parts from them in the past and finally got to meet Pete at NAMM this year - and it was a funny run in... i had borrowed a 25th From EBMM for the show and it was GORGEOUS... and Pete had stopped by the booth i was demoing for and commented on the 25th... it was like talking to an old friend... just a great guy... he was so gracious and was able to make some connections for me to meet some other guys on the forum. It was great...
If there was any sort of recognition for dealers and they way they go above and beyond on a continual basis for customers they would both get it. HECK... Pete volunteered AFTER i told him i couldn't order a guitar from him because of this and another purchase that took place... That's a man of great integrity and kindness that you just don't find anywhere else.
Their Mama should be very proud...
