How do you like it?

As someone who has owned a reg. JP7, two BFR JP7s, a JPXI-7, and now a JP12-7, I can say that the JP12 is the best. It shouldn't really come as a surprise that they get better as JP evolves them. I was always a fan of the basswood JP7 and thought it sounded huge. I think a lot of other people were in the same boat. The fact that he's gone back to basswood, has the 20" radius, SS frets, with the mahogany tone block...this guitar is astounding. I've never had the 'clarity' of a guitar really jump out at me like it did with this one. It feels lighter/or slightly smaller than the JP11, but that could just be me. The neck profile is nuts. I had to do a double take to count the tuning pegs when I first grabbed the neck because it did not feel like a 7 at all. So comfortable. So sleek. And uber sexy. I love the Cherry Sugar finish.

Now as soon as they start coming with black hardware it will be perfect

You guys are throwing logs on the fire. It will take some serious saving. Going to have to work a lot of double shifts, but this is one guitar that I just cannot get off my mind. Would love to see pics or hear clips/vids of the JP12. Thanks for the replies.

I'll try to post some clips if I can figure out how lol. The pickups are seriously awesome. I was worried about the articulation for the low B string, but the CL + LF combo is fantastic. Ben Peterson has the best pictures of the guitar.

Got a link? Also is the Trem on the JP12 any different from my original JP6 BFR ? Mine is emerald green. Has the D Sonic and the special JP neck pickup. So yeah mine is an early version.

The trem has a wider baseplate but you won't notice it.

I'm going to do two different clips, hopefully this weekend. One will be raw, the other will be dubbed over though.

Here are some pics:

From the pics I've seen live, John alternates between the 11 and 12 for the 6s, but seems to have gone all 12 with the 7s. I'm also very interested in the basswood version and would love to hear a video comparison.
