Help! Stainless steel refret help

Hi all....I was wondering if anyone here knew of a repair shop or luthier that has experience with stainless steel refrets, preferably in the Maryland/Delaware area. I know a few that can work with nickel silver all day, but they've not worked with stainless steel frets. I have limited funds so I want to make sure it's right the first time, and reasonably priced. Thanks for any help/info you can give!

His base price for a SS refret and Plek job is $360. Hardly cheap. Really nobody is going to do a cheap SS fret job. Most guys don't even have the tools to work with SS frets. I would give EB CS a call and see how much they would want to do a SS fret job. I doubt it would be more than $400.

I must have read it wrong. I thought I saw $180 and $20 extra for ss. He must mean the Plek only. Whoops!

I've been checking this guys website. He's probably going to be who I get to do the refret...I just wanted to see if there were other options. I did contact EB via email and was told that they can do a refret (at a great price btw) but replacing with ss wasn't a service that they offer. Thanks for the info!

I've heard great things about Phil Jacoby, but when I needed a luthier he was too backed up at the time so I went with another guy in Baltimore, Mike Forrester, he did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to or recommend him.
