Bongo HH or single HS?

Hey guys as i'm working towards getting my first bongo bass i'm stuck between trying to decide between an HH model or an HS model. Being i only have 2 stingray's that are both single H model's i'm trying to look for something that's a little more versatile and more powerful than my basses. I wanted some of the bongoloid's opinions on both of the models. i'm leaning towards the HS model so far as i think one hum bucker and then a single could offer me more than just 2 hum buckers.

I'll try to answer once and for all.

The main differences between HS and HH are:
1) With HS you'll hear more from the bridge Humbucker in a 50/50 blend situation.
2) With HH you'll have two pickups with the same output (which becomes a plus in case you tend to use your pickups isolated)
3) H+S is one of the most successful mods in guitars and basses. Why? Because it just works.

Neck pickup = lows - fat, scooped...P-esque.
Bridge pickup = mids - present, mix-cutting tone..."Jaco-esque".

Most people love to start from a nasal tone over a muddy one, with the possibility from time to time to add some lows/highs (which is what a neck pickup fundamentally does). And that's where an HS does better than an HH. On the other hand, two humbuckers will give you more available tones than one and a half .

In the end...some people prefer more, some people prefer better. The choice is yours =)
