Hello all. First of all, I am new to the forum as a proud new owner of a Sterling Silo 30! I bought it "used" (still had the stickers on the pick ups, back plate, and pick guard!) for a great deal. I have to say I am really diggin' the guitar, as it is the first of the Sterling/MusicMan family I have owned. Very happy to have it in my stable!

However, the guitar was traded in to the store I bought it from without the tremolo bar. Does anyone know where I can obtain a replacement, or will any bar that fits work?

I plan to take it up to my local shop today to see what they have that might work for the time being. But if you have any information, just let me know!

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you all in the forum!

Oh, heres my Silo :)

Man, I love the Silo30 in white. Looks super classy. Nice score.

Thanks, I love it too! I like the white over the black, because it does have that classy look to it. And regarding the tremolo arm, I ended up contacting Sterling, and they are sending me the correct one for free! Very cool company to deal with.

But, before I was able to contact them, I picked up a replacement arm that fits in the bridge for a few bucks at my local store and I've been able to mess around with that today. It adds so much to the guitar and my playing, as I haven't previously had a trem bridge on anything. It actually made me like it MORE.

Pat and Daniel are great guys. I have the Silo20, which is a hardtail. I do prefer the white although mine is black but you can't go wrong either way.

Someday I'd like to go with a pearloid pickguard. Have fun!
