So I went to my local GC and traded my Axis Tribute and a couple other guitars for something. Stay tuned for more information...

Also feel free to guess what it is. If you get it right, I'll give you.....the satisfaction of knowing you guessed right!

Yeah I know I had buyers for it, but it just wouldn't have worked out as well for me. Someone can probably score it from the GC in Portland, ME in 10 days though!

Also, it's not a Luke III, but that's a good guess, as I definitely want one of those!

What color was the Tribute? Looking at your profile, so I guess I am going to play!!! It's a Dark Lord Steve Morse....

No one's got it yet... The Dark Lord was an extremely good guess, but I never received any response when I inquired about that guitar.

Also, an AL HH would be sweet, but its not that either...

And the Tribute was Purple.

yea, i got pics of it already from the bangor store lol. They are going to price it at 1399. They were really confussed at how I already knew about it when they had only taken it a few hours before

Yeah it's got a killer top. I just didn't connect with it. If I don't enjoy playing a guitar I don't keep it, I'm not really a collector. Also, this thread is starting to get hijacked a little, so I will put it back on track by saying that my new purchase has a BFR inlay....

Well UPS did not fail. It's here and it's spectacular! To quote Pete Dubaldo: "It is sweet like cherries and sugar." I don't really have time (or the light!) to snap some good photos of it, but I will tomorrow, as well as my thoughts on it (if anyone is interested!).

Initial impression is amazing!
