What a goldmine of info there is to be found with a little searching . I recently messed up the factory settings on my saddle height on my bongo . It was a lesson for me not to do this and it wasnt the end of the world . However ! i did it ! I found the method that worked for me to resolve this dilemma , after lots of backtracking through the archives of previous players steps to sort this problem , i narrowed down the way to go ! Thus alleviating the luthier .
The last time i used a luthier to build up the nut height , the headstock had super glue stuck all over it when i got the SR4 back . I was really p#&*#d off .
My SR4 has a very DARK FINGERBOARD , so i was wondering if any out there would know if this was an ebony fretboard ? Its very shiny and feels extremely smooth . Im not really up on my wood/timber types .

If I'm not mistaken, you can contact CS with the serial # and they can give you all the build data on your bass. Check with them on Monday!
