Rich, there is nothing wrong. if GAS hits you, you should not resist.
nice to see, the you are hook to a new style and sound of guitars. the Y2Ds are a good counterpart to the JPs.
tobacco burst is such a nice color!

and don´t forget to post pictures here:

For sure Joe,I've been a victim of G.A.S. a few times before with the Jp models. For some reason this is a different type of GAS seeing it's a fairly new model for me i'm looking forward to having a Bar on a SM.At first i was looking at a HH LIII but the morse just fits so well.
The whole thing is when ordering a new guitar is the waiting part is killer so in 3/4 months pic's will get posted.
btw:the top on your Tobacco burst Sucks and if i get a top like that i'll be happy then a pig in a blanket..lol

So the lack of arm and body contours didn't affect you one bit after playing JPs for years? I found the SM model always dug into to under part of my forearm.

Good point.Actually it did and i'm still working on getting used to the different contour. For the most pt thats the reason why i don't like to play Les Pauls, the edge it very tough on your under forearm.
When i stand up the morse is hanging lower than where i'd have my petrucci's due to the contour difference.
All in all though i'm getting used to it as well as the pickups and neck shape etc...
It's really a amazing piece of work!
