yes it's funny ;)
but ,
I am surprised by this mod
the LIII was just arrived in stores and Steve change his neck on his true gold and LIII
sure for he it's a good combo and i respect his choice it's his guitar signature
what we have to understand to this choice i don't think that he made these changes just for fun :

a new option will be available for LIII ?
what are these new necks : roasted,ebony fretboard ?
are they like the future PDN : Roasted Maple Neck, Pau Ferro Fret Board, Stainless Steel Frets

:cool::cool::)

Well there were 3 different wood flavors for the Protos if we recall correctly. Or, it could be he snapped another neck and EBMM sent out a standard neck for replacement

Yeah, maybe it was one of the prototypes before he settled on the rosewood neck? But remember, when the BFRs came out he still used his older stuff too. It's all choices and flavours and if that's what he prefers for some songs on this particular tour, that's not a bad reflection on the LIII.

Looks like the rosewood necks are off for this tour. My guess is the EMGs on the TG and, well, the HH is clearly a HH. From Inside MusiCast's Facebook page...

I hope the LIII remains with the all rosewood neck though. I really want that as my next guitar, but wont be able to obtain it probably until sometime next year.

I've tried rosewood necks a few times and always come back to maple as I prefer the feel.... maybe Luke would agree!
