Question [NGD] EBMM JP6 BFR Content

So last night after 4 months I've got this new guitar. you guys know all the specs so I just wanted to share this with you and post some pics. Though I have a question as well. The Certificate's date is April 2012. is it means that this guitar has stainless steel frets? Because as far as I remember in a video from Namm I have heard that all jps after the namm will have stainless steel frets. can someone clear this up?

my other quetion is, can i keep the whammy bar on the guitar and put it in it's case?I am asking becasue I remember on regular Music Man guitar cases there was a special place on it for tremolo bar, But my case seems like it does not have that place.

and piezo sounds awesome by the way. I have 5 guitars before this (Esp and Ibanez prestiges) but the cleans with piezo on this sounds like nothing ever before

All guitars made after 18/01/12 (or 01/18/12 for you Americans) have stainless steel frets, so your guitar has them. So, what do you think of them? Can't imagine them being too different if you didn't know.

Also I am not sure what you mean for your second question.

Thank you Dolan. English is not my first language so let me ask my 2nd question again, Simply I want to know if I can put the guitar in it's case with tremolo arm attached to it. I've seen a EBMM Luke model couple of years ago and it had a different guitar case (Molded plastic one) and inside that case there was a special empty place that would let the guitar to rest in the case with the tremolo arm attached to it. but my BFR case does not have that design. Should I remove the tremolo bar every time that I want to put my guitar in the case?

No, the bar will contact the case. Give it a try, strum the strings and slowly close the case and you will hear the trem bring depressed.

I'd double check your serial number in the guitar dating sticky thread to see if it's a newer production guitar with stainless steel frets. I'm not sure the date of the COA is indicative alone of its production.

Nothing wrong with that, really. Nickel frets have been the standard for years and for good reason. See what I mean about the little difference they make if you had no idea whether or not you had them?

Here is the answer.. (They are nickel.. The guitars still plays great!)

G52713- DOB: 11/28/11, this model does NOT have the stainless steel frets.
