Well here it is the guitar that has been on a journey, thankfully no worse for wear, actually came back in same shape as sent including the case goodies I included.
Today I changed the strings nourished the rosewood with some EB conditioner and set it up to my liking
So the Reader Digest version is I sent this to France via USPS, they royally screwed up the shipping lost the package then without notice of any kind returned it to Texas and left it on my front porch unannounced
Well thieves are everywhere and someone stole it from the porch, at the time this all happened I/we still thought it was lost in the USPS system sitting in a warehouse somewhere in the world
It wasnt until Guitar Center called me that I realized it had been sent back and stolen, somebody was trying to sell it to them and well when they saw I was the original buyer they quickly called me to ask about it. I informed them yes it is a stolen guitar but the person ran off. I filed a stolen property report with Garland Police who were able to recover and return the guitar.
The person who stole it off the front porch pawned it in South Dallas then sold the pawn ticket to the person it was recovered from. The person who stole it has a warrant out for thier arrest and will be prosicuted on a felony. The scum who buys pawn tickets is out his cash and was running a drug house. Not illegal to buy pawn tickets but if the property is stolen merchandise well the person is out, hopefully they busted him on drug possesion.
Anyway GPD did a great job and it is here at home.
Now new old pics
