Wow. It will be interesting to see if these are true to the originals. I've owned at least 4 or 5 of them. Still have a pearl blue that I'll never sell. Those guitars are killer for getting Luke's Candyman sound.

I haven't seen him play a Luke I since the Luke II came out. Then again, I haven't seen him play the robot or the sunburst Valley Arts since the Luke I.

and they aren't in bad conditions every times

this reissue is a good idea for who want a brand new guitar with the old EMG and floyd trem

Is the Floyd rose the only difference between the Luke I and Luke II ??

Apart from the 1. Floyd Rose 2. Different single coils (EMG SA57's) 3. No tone control, the biggest difference is the neck profile. To me the neck on the Luke I is quite a bit slimmer than the Luke II. My understanding is that the Luke I neck was originally profiled exactly like Luke's Valley Arts Robot. The Luke II was profiled more like a '63 strat that Luke also liked the profile of. Both have a V type shape, but the Luke I is a more pronounced V, whereas the Luke II is a softer V and more 'vintage' shaped. I'd quite like EBMM to verify all this, as it's just internet stuff I've read down the years....

This company is just freaking cool!!! That is awesome. I drooled over those guitars for years as a teenager, always dreaming that one day I could own a Lukather model.
