just when ive gone and bought a jp12, i see this!

http://platinum.guitarcenter.com/search/view_listing.cfm?prodId=16227

im very tempted to buy it if its still available at the beginning of next month. my only problem then though would be that i would have to sell the jp12, or if it turns out that i prefer the jp12, that guitar in order to buy a 7 string like i originally intended.

damn it, why did i have to see this!......or alternatively, damn it why cant i have lots of money!!

I know how you feel. Two weeks after I ordered my BFR Ass. The PDN run was announced. Timing is everything.

can anybody tell me if this 47th anniversary jpx has nickel or ss frets? it doesnt say on the site.
i'm guessing i may have to contact them :)

theres not any special edition jpxi/jp12 that you guys know about, that are due to be released soon are there? it would be typical if i went a head and got this, then a couple weeks down the line a quilted special edition of the jp12 is released :p

These had nickel frets. If these are still in stock they are about 2 years old now. Awesome guitars, though.

I say the XII is the better choice. Thinner neck and stainless steel frets. I say no regrets.

that is one thing thats making me think more rationally. specs wise, id rather the jp12 which is why i chose it in the first place. i just love that finish on the newer shape body

The barolo is sold too - I just haven't updated my signature...

honestly, if I wasn't in such financial trouble, I would have kept it. Best guitar I've ever played.
