When I perform I use backing tracks so I don't have to deal with a band. There are risks and rewards associated with doing this. Canned music, guitar karaoke, cool music, all the glory, no drums to help carry.

The best reward I know is I get to play my music too!

To that end I played and recorded all the backing tracks for my songs. But for the Satriani and Morse songs I love I found some backing tracks already prepared on the web available for download. I also see this as a cool way to learn these songs.

A bunch of Satriani backing tracks can be found at:
http://www.ollysguitar.com/backing.htm Then I also found some MIDI backing tracks for Dregs and Steve Morse tuns at:
http://members.tripod.com/~Godsize1/midi.htm (Turn on your pop up blocker for this one)

So here is potiential ammo for you. If anyone finds another site with backing tracks, hopefully you can post them here as well.

Hello

I found some MIDI files on one of my hard disks.
But there is no Vista Grande (I have Aftershock, Battle Lines, ...). Are you sure that Vista Grande was on the site ?

I'm sure) Thats 146%. I used the Internet Wayback Machine - there was link to that song.
