Unfortunately, due to medical bills, I had to sell my last Music Man guitar. A BFR Amethyst Burst Axis. I am so bummed right now.:( I hope when I get my finances straight to get another Axis. Unless anyone wants to give me an early Christmas gift.;)

sorry to hear that, some Knucklehead have been through the same here and they always return to EBMM when their finance gets better

Medical bills in the US seems to be always a bad surprise, we are lucky in France not to have that

Sorry to hear that and hope all is well, health is more important than material things and I am hopeing your back in the EBMM world sooner than later.

David in the US for the majority it is a suprise even with insurance, yep pretty lucky to not worry about unexpected medical bills.

Sorry to hear that, I hope it's not long before you can get at least one EBMM again. I had to sell most of my guitars a few years back and it is such a downer but things can get better!

Medical Coverage is always something that is so very tricky...

Because honestly one cannot afford to be without it...

As my fiance and i are going over financial matters again before we get married we got into the discussion of medial care. Her job will only provide catastrophic coverage and she had an allergic reaction to an additive to a vitamin which cost her $2000 but saved her life...
As we look at the different aspects and my coverage we realized that i have been BEYOND blessed with a job that covers 100% of my medical, dental and vision coverage and at most my out of pocket would be equilivent to a dinner out...
The trick then becomes how to merge the two - and allow her future out of pocket expense to be similar to mine...

That being said... a guitar can always be replaced and as long as you stick around here something similar will sure to bounce your way.

Prayers and quick recovery sent your way my friend.

Thank you everyone. My health is better, it's paying the bills that is killing me, but at least I am better so that's worth it. Once things get straightened around, I do plan on buying another in the future.

Yeah, the "medical industry" in the USA is waaaay out of control!!!! But, they know that they "gotcha", because it's YOUR life!!! Very unfortunate that having good health can literally destroy a hard working Ameican family.

Hope you can get your EBMM back soon, cause it's "great therapy" - I know first hand!!!
