Wow, lots of threads about the same topic.

As said before, Guitar Center is a great place which will be with a decent + stock, and you can see what every store has online so you go prepared...

A lot of people recieve by UPS guitars that are perfectly setup, how did they get them? :p is there a way to buy directly? I'm worried about people having played that guitar a lot or something!

Remember that you can´t judge a guitar by its initial setup, specially if it has been hanging in a store exposed to dust, other players, etc.

There´s nothing that a good tech can´t take care of, specially if it is a simple setup issue. You can buy them online and make sure that they´ll arrive new and your hands will be the first to touch them. If so, I highly recommend Musician's Friend: Musical Instruments Store they have a great shipping policy and NO SALES TAX outside California, so you´ll be able to save a few bucks that way. They´re always giving discounts so must be aware so you can grab them!

Yes. Genaeron, in future, just one thread please, ok? Thanks.

I've also edited the thread title to take out the all the capital letters. It's the Internet equivalent of the guy that talks a little too loud and too close and leaves little bits of spit on your face. Don't be that guy! :)

You'll smell it, and I ain't joking. It comes with a plastic bag also.

I've 6 MM.

Just 1 bought after trying it in NY.

All the rest were bought blind-sighted from this board, GC, Basscentral and MF.

Never been dissapointed.

I understand your fear, but you'd have to be really one bad-lucked dog to have any issues. Besides, CQ of MM guitars is really amazing and you won't get a lemon!

Get it ordered into a NYC guitarcenter for "in store pickup". I don't think they force you to buy it (why would they since they have a 30 day return policy anyway.) Try it out. Buy it if it's a good one.

I believe they take it from a store and send it to another one!
I'd prefer one who wasn't fooled around with anywhere!
Fresh fresh fresh! only with MM QC!

If you want that guarantee you have to order, specifically stating that you want a fresh new one, and have it sent from EBMM to the GC. Get on that now if you want a chance to have it available in January.

Is that possible?
It would be really cool for them to get me a fresh new one out of the box!

It is now time for you to take control. Pick up the phone and call guitar center. Or Pete at Dubaldo (he posts here). The forum can't take this any further for you. I hope you find what you are looking for.
