Very nice group shot. Must be hard keeping that many people in a band all working together and rolling in the same direction.

Definitely herding cats. It took about four years, but it helps having players that are dedicated to the genre.

Great father-daughter pic. It's awesome that you passed on the love of music to her.

She's studying music at USC now, I update her status on the bass side once in a awhile. She played with us for about two years, and has been the hardest piece to replace. :)

I've been trying to get them to make me a purple big al for a while now
One day I'll be famous enough.

Erin

You are forum-famous! With so many purple guitars, they should make you a purple BA!

Thats EXACTLY what I was thinking.

Great pics btw, looks like you take it seriously but still have a lot of fun!

Ain't nothing but a party!

Cool mate. Lovin the Stax too.

This band is all about the Stax!

Thanks again for all your nice comments. Mrs. LawDaddy helps run the band, so this is a true family business. All your comments are definitely confirmation that we are doing things right.

And, BTW, Mrs. LawDaddy buys all the guitars, and this was one of her favorites. We picked up the hat band on a trip to Seattle at a hat store. :)

I love purple guitars and basses. In fact my last guitar was a transparent purple burst from black over a quilted maple top. Looked killer too. This is probably why I am wanting a mystic dream JP6 so bad because of the purple in it.

If they would let me order a Trans Purple Big Al SSS, or a Purple Sparkle Big AL SSS i would be A couple thousand dollars poorer. I do have an Aqua Purple Big Al H, and sometimes it is purple, but it is very hard to coordinate.

Besides having my daughter in the band, one of my proudest achievements as a parent is that we can have entire conversations in Spinal Tap dialogue. Over the Thanksgiving holiday when she was home, she lamented that her classmates at USC are not as Tap-savvy. Come on, the other parents need to pickup their game!
