It's easy to want more, but when you think about it, there isn't really much else that the Sterling line needs.

Yes, some love for the freak mutant left handers from Saturn is needed, but aside from some colors and maybe a vintage trem on the Silo20, I think the Sterling line is great!

I would love to see a Mystic Dream JP50 but the costs say no way. I reckon a few new colour options for each of the 4 guitar models. :)

A Silo Spec would be nice, but doubt it will happen... so I would be happy with a trem option on the Silo. It is also the only reason I didn't buy one this year. As for colors, we will see what happens at NAMM... its still a BP AL world come January!

An AX 20 in another color (Cherry Burst?), maple board and matching headstock. If that happens, I WILL buy one. Need a guitar with a humbucker at the neck.

I admit that I am not in the market for a Sterling.

Having said that, I would imagine that something like the SUB1 would be a cool addition to the line. To be precise: a no-nonsense, workman-like guitar with no contouring on the body and a tough textured finish (preferably in black!). Plain and simple.

Something to consider.

Al SSS with silent circuit and trem in the same color combo as the red GC rosewood neck one from Gregg's thread. All maple is fine with me.

As for the neck treatment......just like I did with my Sub 1, I would sand off the finish and Tru-Oil and wax it. It's not all that difficult or scary to do.

A few more color options would be a good first step. Take things slow and don't offer too much in this crappy economy. Grow some desire in the brand before spending tons of money on developing a new product.

From there, I'd say a 7 string JP, or a "BFR" JP...give the kids a guitar like what JP is playing now at a price they can afford.

Hello and thanks for asking. I would like an AX30 with maple board, hard tail, and Hum-single-single pickup configuration.
Thanks
