I guess the Armada was the big focus this year... and they didn't want two guitars competing each other and maximize the sales from the Armada. i just hope the armada comes with different colours

he he I like those thread :)

Thanks for sharing BP that's cool, as for the regular negative comments about every new release I'm getting used to it, but still I would prefer people to see and try guitars themselve before any bad comments...

Anyway, waiting for the other news

I have a few questions, as I am looking into possibly snagging a JP12 soon.

First off, will all models be losing the BFR inlay and being replaced by a BFR neckplate starting this year? Or will it just be the JP13?

Second, if the BFR inlay is being removed from the other models, will it be replaced by the typical 12th fret 2 shield inlay found on the original JP model, or will it have the empty gap shown in the JP13 advertisement?

We will be using bfr neck plates instead of inlays starting in 2013.

Would like to know this too.

Good call - IMHO much classier than the inlay!

I'm guessing the two 12th fret bullets have been photoshopped out of the picture, to not spoil the surprise of the missing BFR shield.

Cheers

Eske

P.S.: A shame about the Stallion - I was really looking forward to seeing the "unicorn"... but it's much better to get things right than to push a product still in R&D - yet another reason to respect EBMM in my book!

OK YOu guys are just so predictable....

Let me go back to where we started and actually have never left....the secret to our signature guitars is that they are tools for the signature artist and in JP's case his ideas, our joint designs and collaborations have proven popular. Why? Because we dont stop until we both are happy. We dont let an arbitrary date like a NAMM show shove a guitar to market when it isnt what he or I wants....its close
but not ready....Here is the thing....I have never gotten more vile and abrasive comments as when I introduced to you guys early the BFR JP....The JP thread and other guitar forums were just so mean and aggressive and guess what? It has been the biggest selling guitar we have ever made.

Please have some faith....please try to respect that we are trying to do it right...please

Do you notice that there are no pics of the stallion? Do you wonder why? The negativity and restrictive thought impair the design process.

I dont understand why people are surprised that there is a 13...

The Armada had nothing to do with the delay on the Stallion.....

oh and a little tip...The stallion was the code word during development.... WE are happy to announce that it will hit the market at the Majesty.

Very cool BP - thanks for the info, the fact you guys aren't forcing it out just to get it shown at NAMM to me is continued sign of quality and attention to detail... A+

Hi! Newbie to the forum here!
As many of the "NAMM waiters", I was pretty sad when reading about the Stallion being delayed..but I'm glad to hear that BP and EBMM crew won't present new models just for market's sake as other brands do..

So absolutely not worth it, the JP13 that is. If you already have a JP just keep your money in your pockets instead. It seriously sucks.

Really? So you're saying that we're gonna see the "Stallion" before the Summer NAMM?

Bold statement, have you played it? Oh, wait..

I think it's a great idea to introduce the boost function to the JP, it seems just the right guitar for that.
Looking forward to the NAMM reports and pics! Especially interested in the Armada.

The Majesty - oh yeah, sounds like a "back to the roots" for JP. Can't wait to see it and, hopefully, play it someday.

Big Poppa - you do a great job, keep it going and don't worry about grumps - they have always been, and always will be complaining, no matter what you'll do :)

Cheers!

I appreciate the time spent in perfecting the new JP. Glad to hear that it's not rushed to market.

I probably wasn't around at the time, but I'm suprised the BFR JP wasn't a hit from the start. I doubt the internet can destroy a good product, but it's properly disheartening at times.
