Hey forumites,
I just wanted to share my last impression of my wonderful Tobacco Burst Morse Y2D. I have been playing guitar for 16 years now but today was the first time I took the opportunity to jam to my favourite tunes with the guitars I collected over time (not all are EBMMs, thare's also a Godin Artsian ST for example or the former Petrucci model of a Japanese brand). And the winner soundwise as well as feelingwise is clearly my Y2D. It is a pure soundmachine!! So rich and clear, powerful yet refined - no other 6 String guitar (my JP7 didn't take part in this competition) coud reach the high bar, the Y2D set. The Godin came in close 2nd in terms of playability, but its finished neck is a total turnoff wo me since I laid hands on the waxed and oiled EBMM goodness. Another thing I noticed is, that the Y2D makes me play things, I never played before. It seems highly inspirational to me. Has anyone made similiar experiences?
I also have a Darklord incoming, I can't wait to give it a ride in comparison!!
Cheers
Matthias
