The small pearloid ones are the ones I bought.

I think they look way classy compared to the metal ones.

I´d also keep both. I love the look of the perloid on rosewood necks.
I have a guitar with schallers, the guitar was a bit neck heavy, i changed the tunerknobs to ebony , problem solved.

I've bought tuner buttons from Crazy Parts, too. Mine were black mother of pearl. I am very happy with them.

the guitar is a Hamer Monaco chambered with a f hole. The original buttons were the big Schaller ones that weight about 150 gr,the ebony ones were at least 50 gr. It worked fine and the guitar looks much better with the new buttons.

They are Schaller spare parts, so they fit right on. I used the same screws and everything!
