I noticed on the guitar side that there's some super tasty options now. I'm really surprised there's no mention of it here...

I asked Pete DuBaldo (source of said pics) to post them over here. I think we all missed that there were new colors for the Reflex, including a snappy blue burst (really). Too busy thinking about my next Sabre.

Pacific Blue Burst and Tangerine Pearl. The first is my favorite as its a great chance to show off that finish with no pickguard!

New reflex colors, ...sounds cool!

I'm a bit disappointed with no Bongo news, but anyway, I already checked an appointment at my dealer to order one next week!

It would be regular Candy Red Bongo 5 H black PG.

Bye!

I think that, and the tango pearl should jump-start sales of Reflexes to something more than a few per year.

big question would be: 5 string or 4 string? I have found myself playing more and more 5 string lately, just so I can have those extra low notes. I even have one bass that is extended scale (35.25 inches) in an effort to get a better low B. But, I still have some 4 bangers, and sometimes I like the "simplicity".

Of course, the reflex is definitely not "simple", with all the active, passive, pickup switching, and EQ options. also as my one friend said "even if you don't use the B string it makes a great thumb rest"

probably HH. I like the bridge pickup in the sweet spot. though, i'd definitely want to try out an HSS before I made any real decision.
