Nice Tone w/ Axis Tribute

Hey guys, today I wrote a little melodic guitar jam in my home studio...I used my Black Axis Tribute and my Roland Cube. I plugged straight into my AudioBox 22VSL and improvised over this simple progression I threw down. This Black Tribute seems a little brighter for some reason...I hope you enjoy it!

Hi Tim. Yes, I have it back with me and had some fun with it the other day. I'd forgotten how bright she was with the maple fingerboard (in a good way, very lively) The trouble is, I have too many nice guitars and at the moment I have to force myself away from the AL and 25th. It's a good problem to have! The axis is like an old friend though and won't be ignored for long.

Funny thing is my JP6 was my main guitar for several years and that's the only one I never use nowadays. Same thing with my old high gain patches, I find myself using mainly clean or slightly dirty tones now. Must be old age, or as I prefer to think of it, mellow and mature! I'm starting to get some arthritis in my finger joints so have had to adapt my playing style which means fewer notes and less speed. I find it quite liberating tbh and have never enjoyed playing as much as I do now.
