Alot of money, but that bass sure is in good nick, I have seen a fair bit of Andy Baxters stuff, he aint cheap but he always has really nice quality vintage gear and a nice selection of Rays to!
Wow! Definitely wouldn't be one to take out for gigs, that's for sure. When I hit Powerball and open my Bass Museum, maybe I'll buy it. For now, I'll have to stick with my Classic.
Reportedly it was sold twice, and a little later put up again at higher prices.
I don't know whether that means people paid for it, only to try and sell it right away, or that people pushed the "buy" button without being able to pay.
OK, ...some "suspicious minds" are going around in our domestic Music Forum in Music Man Club thread about this B001000 Stingray, ...so I wonder if someone from EBMM company can confirm information that this Stingray is really a serial No.1?
BP, A.J., ...anyone...?
I can't find an old thread about this, so please if company headquarters would be so kind to agree, or disagree with S/N B001000 as an authentication of No.1 Stingray?
The one thing I would say, subject to EBMM input Keko, is if Andy Baxter is selling it then chances are 99.99% it is what it is, the guy is a great seller and VERY well respected, exceptionally well researched, NOT cheap for sure, but he does find top notch axes and he is a quality act.
