I am also curious about these instruments. Are there a certain number of them that are going to be made available? When are they going to be hitting stores in larger numbers? etc. Would appreciate any info!
Glen or A.J. or whomever: Can you give us more info? Can you tell us which models were part of that run? So far I think we have seen a Luke II, a Luke III, and a JP12. Specifically, did it include the Axis?
When I do a search on GC Platinum site for "Bali", or when I do a full scan of all EBMM in GC Platinum, I see zero EBMM's in Bali Burst.
I'm in for a quilt reflex with trem if any available
Could this run be the new pdn run? Like the one from last year? It seems to me that a lot of us really dig this finish and this could be a nice way to celebrate my 10th anniversary here.
BP if you see my post consider it as a serious request
Well, it wasn't for a show or Derek and Glen would have let me know. I think it's from time to time EBMM does limited runs for GC. Like the Turquoise Pearl Roasted Maple JPX's and the GC 46th anniversary stuff. And since we have seen the Bali in different models (LII, LIII, JP12) I thought maybe it was a run of that color on different models.
My bubble is intact. Yes, the run is done, but I would like to understand "What was in the run?!?" Which models, etc. And if there's an Axis in the supply chain somewhere, how do I order one?!?
I might also suggest that when EBMM does a special run for GC, it would be great to announce it here so that us Knuckleheads will be in the know. Then they'll get purchased faster which is good for everyone involved (GC, EBMM).
Perhaps limited runs could be announced in advance, so orders could be placed pre-production? I don't mean a personal phone call, although that would be epic, but maybe just a product announcement on that section of the ebmm website?
I was just responding to threeminutesboy. The pdn run was kind of a forum only thing even though I think they posted it on facebook. Very low key and I think very limited. I'm actually still waiting on one of my pdns. This is a great color. I'm kind of spoiled with the stainless frets now not sure I could go back to a regular axis.
don't worry jvh... I'm just saying that this could be a good idea of finish for a PDN limited run and I really like the color. if it's happening fine, if not then I will not sweat too much
