Hey guys, here's another short of a track I started playing with. This is very early in the "scratch" phase and very raw with basic drums. I'm having a bit of an issue with ezdrummer and finding the right "grooves" that match what I'm hearing in my head, hence no drums in that last bit(guess its time for a midi keyboard so I can program my own drums instead of trying to use the pre made grooves). I've still got a few tidbits to add to this part but I figured I'd throw it out there anyway. Any and all tips/comments are greatly appreciated

Nice one again!! The guitars sound huge!

As for programming: you can always edit the pre made grooves in the midi editor. IMO that's one of the key features of EZdrummer. And the best part: you don't need a midi keyboard for this. I always programmed my beats with my computer mouse in the midi editor. (Which has become a lot easier now with the pre made Grooves :)

Keep up the good work!

that´s the way i´m working as well.
just listen to the pre-made grooves and edit it to my needs.

btw. lessthanone:
you are using the DfH, right?
take a look at the Metal Machine kit - which sounds so much better as the DfH.
i can´t stand the sound of the DfH snare and bass-drums any more - worked to long with it. the metal machine and metalheads kits are awesome and bring your drum-sound to the next level.

great tune - keep on going.

if you want to take a listen to the metal machine kit, klick the links below:

thanks mate!
yes, it´s just a kind of metallica-style idea i captured on the PC-harddrive.
EZ-Drummer Metal Machine drums, LePou Lecto Amp with a TS808 plugin in front and Recabinet 3.5 as cab-simulation.

all sounds are made in the DAW, no real amp - just EBMM JP guitars. :)
left out the bass on the first track, if you listen to jw66 (the second track) i added a bass for that extra groove feeling.
edit:
and used the Darklord on the jw66 instead of the JP6
