Thats tough to say I really dont know which is my favorite they are both great however the one on the right has a very peculiar top, never seen it before

This is the best JP model in my opinion. The 12 (though 11 would be good too) with the see-thru tops. I wish they made more of these with the other trans colors.

I owned the original JP12 as well but this one in my humble opinion sounds much better, to me anyway, the mahogany body with maple top great combination

The color is a limited run made for Guitar Center, they made it in a JP XII and a Luke III HH, some where I think I saw Glen post that 47 each distributed to GC's across the country.

Several of us including myself and Fred bought a Luke there are some other threads with pics around

Very cool color better in person as it is tough to photograph
