Decided to change the plain white guard on my AL, wife picked this out. I'm really digging it. Ordered from Chandler, great customer service, took about 10 days.

Pickups are the aged Seymour Duncan Antiquity II Surfs with the custom bridge, really digging them. Knobs I had laying around from a Gibby project.

Delicious?

Thats looks pretty sweet! I would never think to go with a tiramisu guard, but this totally changed my mind. Looks great with the blue, and fits well with the unique shape of the AL.

LOL.

I have an excuse, Mrs. LawDaddy picked it out.

In all seriousness, I think the orange of the guard works better with the blue, seems to fight a little with the red. Black covers, knobs, tips would help yours. Did you keep it that way?

Well if she picked it then it stays!

Mine stayed that way for 1 gig and then I put it back to the original white pearloid. Orange doesn't work with pink-burst!

Lawdaddy your cool but Uh no , that doesn't work. Like Pete said just because you can does not mean you should. EBMM made the same guard a several years ago and called it orange swirl, I put it on a trans orange AL and well was OK but not great:eek:

But well everyone is different:D Maybe blue pearl?

Mine was plain white as stock, pearloid would have been next choice. I just can't have a chunk of plain white plastic hanging off such a nice axe.

I love that Orange swirl PG!!!! Although, maybe not so much wth the blue AL.

I've got an Autumn Red Burst AL that it might work pretty well on, though..........;)
