So I can't just add a thousand comments and win then? I have to wait until it reaches 999?

Sorry, but it really pisses me off when companies have a contest that requires you to be registered with FB. I de-activated my account almost a year ago. At least offer an alternative way to enter for those who aren't on FB. A lot of people aren't anymore.

The contest can't be taken off of Facebook because the entire purpose of the contest is to build their Facebook user base. I found there to be too many instructions though so I will let this one up to people with more time on their hands and a better understanding of Facebook. :)

It's actually pretty simple.

It is a marketing campaign to build our Facebook presence. I want us to hit 20K "Likes".

"Like" our Facebook page, share our page with all your friends, music or otherwise, and get them to "Like" us.

When we hit 20K likes, the Monday after that 20K is reached, we will post "THE CONTEST STARTS NOW!". The 1,000th person who makes the correct comment on that post saying, "I Love Sterling By Music Man Guitars and Basses" will win. I stress 'correct', because so many people have a hard time following directions and such, so if there are 1,000 posts, but 90 of them are something other than the "I Love Sterling By Music Man Guitars and Basses", the winner will be the 1,090th post (so on and so forth)

It will be alot of counting for me, but, will be worth it.

Why Facebook? Social Media reaches the world at large. My products are sold worldwide. Does everybody in the world know my products? No, but certainly more of them will, and, since I know that using an outlet such as this, which is basically free, how can I lose? It's my job and my passion to get our product introduced and into the hands of musicians at any level of experience. We have a superior product at our price point, and have unique, refreshing, timeless Music Man designs that are an amazing alternative to the typical plain vanilla. I know I'm preaching to the choir with that here, but, there is a big world out there that is not enlightened to that fact. But they will be!

On that note, "Like" our Facebook page and take a shot at winning a pretty darn cool guitar!

I am all for the giveaway but agree about the whole FB issue but I understand.I personally don't get the fascination with it (Divorce anyone) and the last thing I want is for most people I know personally to know what I am doing lol

I'm with DevRock. I don't do FB or any other social websites for that matter. Music forums & my e-mail is good enough for me ! :D
